It is now out of print and should be reprinted for young historians wanting to look at this critical period in US history. I teach an online course on the American People in the 1950's and tried to get copies for the class but the bookstore was unsuccessful. WebDr. Goldman was probably best known for his 1952 book Rendezvous with Destiny: A History of Modern American Reform, which won Columbia University's Bancroft Prize for "distinguished writing in American history."
